Hers is a storybook rise to championship status, but her story seems like a cross between an episode of the television show "Hee-Haw" and the movie "Pretty Woman."

Her real name is Barbara Jean Kathryn Mayfield but her father nicknamed her "Sunshine." She grew up in Hickory Hills, Arkansas and seems like the last person ready to make it to the big time. She exploded onto the scene when she won the First Annual "Why I Want To Be An ACW Girl" essay contest. Wanting to leave Hickory Hills in search of glamour and fame, she enrolled in the Chicago DoJo of the ACW Training Academy.
