ACW competitor Madison Payne was held for more than four hours at Laguardia airport in New York as a potential security risk. Payne was flying from a photo shoot in Vancouver, British Columbia and was moving through a security access point within the customs terminal. When she went through a metal detector, the alarms went off and the terminal was locked off from the rest of the airport. After taking off her jacket, boots and gloves, she apprised security of the source of the alarm. "My cooter is pierced," explained Payne. As staff members escorted her to a private room, members of the ACW entourage could barely contain their laughter. After twenty minutes of questioning, Payne jumped up onto a desk and removed her pants to reveal seven ball piercings in her private area. A stupefied security detail then had to endure the shouts from the ACW contingent of "Wow, he went to Jared!" Payne was released a few minutes later and the group was allowed to continue their travel without incident.
